Redsense Medical was set up in 2006 as a spin-off to Innovation Team to develop and market a patent pending idea.

Innovation Team, which is a well-established design company with medtech products, began the development of the product in 2004 in collaboration with the County Hospital and University in Halmstad, Sweden.

Today Redsense Medical has its headquarters in Halmstad, a US-office in Chicago and a production facility in Malaysia.

In 2008, Redsense Medical was awarded as "The 2008 European Hemodialysis Emerging Company of the Year" by Frost & Sullivan.

Key personnel

		Patrik Byhmer, CEO, is a MSc Engineering physics and BA in behavioral Science with experience in helping medical companies to grow global his network extends across Europe the US and Asia.
		Daniel Engvall, CTO, with a Master of Science, is a developing engineer with considerable experience in development of medical technical products. Daniel and his team have coordinated the research, development, clinical testing and manufacturing for Redsense.
		Susanne Olauson, Senior Vice President (Commercial Operations), with a BSc in Business studies and Economics, has extensive international management experience from the Pharmaceutical business.
		Per Lagerkvist, Chair of the Board
